Aheadworks.com published their annual eCommerce comparative study report, measuring approximately 20 platforms. Lets see how they measure up. Based on Alexa 1 Million Top Sites, results show that Magento takes the lead among eCommerce platforms with its Community Edition holding 33.8% share while Magento’s Enterprise solution holds 8.7% share. Many platforms experienced growth. Shopify takes the lead in terms of growth with a 4.6% increase in market share reaching 8.3%. The report also includes Google trends data showing the average search volume and regional interest for each platform.
