You may choose to lock your store to create hype in the days leading up to your event – now you can go ahead and schedule that in Launchpad. If you want to get fancy, set up a landing page with a countdown timer to build some anticipation then when your event starts, Launchpad will unlock the store for you.
During the event, you’ll have the ability to release new products, publishing them on any sales channel you choose. You can even tell Launchpad to increase inventory levels when the event starts! You may also offer a discount on specific products or collections (max 1000 products) or go even further by scheduling specific line item or shipping scripts to run for the duration of the event.
Another really exciting feature of Launchpad is the ability to schedule an event-specific theme change. Let’s say you want to use specific design assets and copy during your event, just set up a preview theme with those updates and schedule the switch in Launchpad! When the event is over, Launchpad will switch back to the theme of your choosing.
You can also keep an eye on the event’s performance in real-time. You’ll be able to see total sales, orders placed, and average order values. Additionally, you can get more in-depth data about the products sold, such as the best selling products and their inventory levels as well as customer conversion data. These valuable insights are all served to you on a handy dashboard and are available after the event is finished.
