We asked ourselves this question recently at Demac and realized we had never properly communicated our values to our partners, clients, or company in some time. At one point we had developed a set of values, but this list was far too long, and too abstract to be as useful as we wanted them to be.
So we hit the drawing board again, to take a second attempt at reformulating the values we know guides everything we do here at Demac. Words that would define our amazing culture appropriately.
It wasn’t easy, but after many long meetings, interactions, and crucial conversations we nailed it. I’m happy to share with you today the (re)launch of our values!
We believe that the link between ourselves and everyone else is important because it helps us better understand the needs of each other, makes us better motivators, better at understanding problems that arise at, and overall better leaders.
It’s our creativity that makes us unique, efficient and gives us an edge – whether it’s creating something brand new or sharing a method to make something easier. We believe that creativity is an essential skill to building and sustaining businesses. We use our creativity at Demac Media to explore, learn, and imagine. In our world there’s always a way to do things better – we find it.
We believe that being accountable for your actions – the good and the bad not only builds trust it also builds value, confidence and performance – it becomes a sense of ownership. Each individual is accountable for the quality and timeliness of an outcome. Whether you’re working with others, or alone. We care about the outcome to the same degree that the “owner” of Demac, or owner of the retailer businesses we work with, would care about the outcome.
